Analysis of Low-abundance Proteins in Human Plasma and Serum

The purpose of this study was to compare several commonly used protein gel staining methods with regards to their sensitivity, quantification, reproducibility, speed, and cost. The preferred methods are used for the gel-based proteomics studies.
