March 14th is better known as Pi day. It always occurs in the third month of the year, on the 14th day of the month. 3.14. Get it? In celebration of this momentous occasion, mathematicians all over the world are consuming pie and filling countless pages with a string of numbers that never ends.

Here, at the Canadian Biotechnologist, we have chosen to take a more scientific approach and are pleased to present you with the New Scientist’s musical rendition of Pi.

We hope you enjoy and please don’t forget to tell all your friends!
