About the Program

Life Sciences Ontario (LSO) is launching the development of a unique mentorship program for entrepreneurs with products or services in Life Sciences. By providing education, peer to peer sharing and networking opportunities, the goal of the program is to support entrepreneurs to successfully achieve business goals.

Brian has unique relationships with international healthcare-specialized private and public fund managers and has attracted capital for each of Bloom Burton’s issuer clients.


Douglas Loe

Douglas Loe is Global Healthcare and Biotechnology Analyst at Byron Capital Markets and has been recognized as one of Canada’s top-ranked analysts in the sector. He has covered the Canadian Biotechnology sector for over 12 years.


Teri Kirk

Teri Kirk is President and CEO of The Funding Portal. Prior to launching The Funding Portal in 2011, Ms. Kirk built and commercialized three previous e-business venture corporations, creating jobs and contracts for dozens of Canadians. She has been named one of Ottawa’s top female entrepreneurs by the Ottawa Citizen and one of Ottawa’s 100 most influential people by The Hill Times.
