Medical Ignorance: Can You Spot the Error?

On the Medical Ignorance YouTube Channel, there are tens of videos of high-school students demonstrating how various pieces of laboratory equipment work. The channel definitely get’s credit for doing its best to get students engaged and excited about biotechnology and it gives them very good exposure to real-world research tools. On the other hand, teachers definitely need to be careful to give there students better instruction in laboratory safety.

In this video, Esau demonstrates how to use a Bio-Rad Gel Doc XR System to visualize a DNA gel by UV visualization. However, he makes one critical safety error. Can you spot the mistake?
